That part of the device is too hard and brittle to be slipped on and off the earpiece. The LG bluetooth headset is GREAT, the accessory earloop SUCKS. These are just like the originals. Something you MUST do if you want to charge the battery in the earpiece. Curiously, there are other ear loops from different brands that DO work. I bought two and within a week both have broken at the same place as the original. You just can't take them off the ear piece more than 2-3 times before the "c-clamp" portion of the ear hook breaks.
It is better than not having a hook at all, but it would be much improved by being a little stiffer. The replacement ear hook is far more flexible than the original, a little too flexible as it has a way of falling off the ear if the speaker is not firmly pushing into the ear.
I suggest ordering several. Item was shipped fast and in great condition. Unfortunatly, this product breaks very easily.
feels very flimsy though. I cant make the supplied rubber loop system work, this piece secured the headset to my ear pretty well for a dollar's worth of plastic and rubber.
Not made well. If you need this to keep the earbud in keep a spare.
